Ownership and Licensing
PDF Ink is developed and owned by Canyon Webworks LLC, a software company licensed in Utah, USA. All plugins developed by Canyon Webworks, including PDF Ink, are licensed under the terms of the GNU General Public License (GPL), as specified at http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-3.0.html.
By purchasing any plugin(s) from Canyon Webworks, you acknowledge and agree to abide by the terms outlined in this Licensing Agreement, and further agree to relinquish any rights to challenge, contest, or take legal action regarding the plugin(s) or this agreement.
Refund Policy
While we are confident in the functionality and quality of our plugins, we recognize that no software is perfect for every user in every environment. We offer a refund for any reason within thirty (30) days of purchase. After thirty (30) days, no refunds will be processed.
Refunds will be issued via the original payment method and may take up to ten (10) business days to reflect on your statement. Any differences in exchange rates or the original processing fees are non-refundable. This amount is < 3% for US customers and < 4.5% for international customers.
Once a refund is processed and the associated license is revoked, the plugin or parts of the plugin may cease to function.
Plugin Updates
Upon purchase of a plugin license, you will be entitled to receive updates for the license period. The periods are six (6) months, one (1) year, or two (2) years. If you have an active license key entered into your WordPress PDF Ink License Settings screen and automatic updates turned on, updates will be delivered automatically. Alternatively, updates may be downloaded directly from your account page. You are prohibited from sharing, reselling, or otherwise distributing access to your license key.
Support
Canyon Webworks guarantees that the plugins will perform in accordance with the functionality described in the product documentation. Requests for additional features or functionality not included in the current plugin version may be submitted to the development team, but are not guaranteed to be implemented. Email-based support is provided for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. After this period, support will no longer be available unless the license is renewed.
License Upgrades
Should you wish to upgrade your license to support additional websites or domains, you may do so through your account page under License Keys > View Upgrades. License upgrades are pro-rated based on the remaining time from the original license purchase, for up to three (3) months from the original purchase date. Upgrading your license (e.g., from “Single Site” to “2-5 Sites”) will not alter the expiration date of the license.
A lifetime (perpetual) license is available as an upgrade after purchase of any single license by going to https://pdfink.com/account/order-history, clicking "View Licenses" and then clicking "View Upgrades." We urge you to try out PDF Ink with a single license, and review the refund policy before upgrading.
License Expiration and Renewal
Upon the expiration of your license, you will lose access to updates and support. Non-essential settings screens of the plugin may become inaccessible.
To renew your PDF Ink license, add the plugin to your cart, enter your existing license key during checkout. A 50% renewal discount will be automatically applied. This renewal discount declines to 10% six (6) months post-expiration, and becomes void one year after license expiration.
SUBSCRIPTIONS
We do not sell subscriptions. Your credit card will never be charged unless you manually complete a purchase by clicking "Purchase" on the checkout page.
PDF Fidelity and Third-Party Parsers
Please be advised that the free parsers included with PDF Ink may remove certain features from PDFs (such as internal links, Table of Contents, layers, accessibility features, and forms) during the watermarking process, due to the limitations of the bundled open-source PDF manipulation libraries.
If these features are critical to your needs, you may opt to purchase third-party parsers for use with PDF Ink, which provide improved PDF fidelity and ensure these features remain intact (namely SetaPDF-Stamper). PDF Ink comes with a 20% coupon code toward purchase of SetaPDF-Stamper or FPDI PDF-Parser.
Indemnification
Our plugins are provided "as-is" without any warranties, either expressed or implied, including but not limited to any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Canyon Webworks shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, our plugins.
By using PDF Ink, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Canyon Webworks, its developers, agents, or affiliates, from and against any claims, lawsuits, demands, actions, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use or misuse of the software, or any violation of the terms of this agreement.
