PDF Ink is special because it allows you to choose a PDF manipulation library set. Here are some things to know about the sets:

  • TCPDI might not work on PDF versions newer than 1.6
  • FPDI won't work on PDF version newer than 1.4
  • TCPDI and FPDI do not understand advanced PDF features like layers, forms, and internal links
  • 💪 FPDI PDF-Parser and 🚀 SetaPDF Stamper are here for testing but are not included with PDF Ink; they can be purchased separately and added to PDF Ink.

If you find out one library set does not work, another should be used.

Sometimes the free parsers bundled with PDF Ink will work just fine, and other times you might have to pay for add-on PDF libraries (€80 FPDI PDF-Parser or €160 SetaPDF-Stamper, using special coupons) to get fancier PDFs watermarked/passworded.

This demo has limited features because it primarily exists to test library sets. For more features, you can try PDF Ink Lite (our WordPress plugin that uses TCPDI/TCPDF) or, for full control over your watermarks and file protections, purchase PDF Ink.
