No! PDF Ink is also a standalone PHP drop-in for people wanting to work with FPDI, FPDI-PDF Parser, FPDF, TCPDF, and SetaPDF-Stamper.
But if you have one of those e-commerce solutions running, great! PDF Ink can watermark/stamp PDFs sold through e-commerce plugins for WordPress. It functions when a file download link is clicked. Custom watermarking data is culled from the checkout form, e.g. customer name, email, telephone number etc.
If you are using WordPress but not Woo/DLM/EDD, PDF Ink also has a shortcode system for building PDF download links into your flow. Those links, when clicked, are encrypted/passworded and stamped ad lib.
Will PDF INK preserve advanced PDF features such as layers, fillable forms, internal links (Table of Contents/TOC, bookmarks), accessibility, Linearized Web View, and PDF 2.0?
Yes, but only when used with SetaPDF-Stamper (separate purchase). The free, open-source parsing libraries used by PDF Ink and which all its competitors use are not able to recognize those advanced PDF features.

Will PDF Ink watermark images?
PDF Ink is intended to watermark PDF (.pdf) files. If you are specifically looking to watermark image files (.jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .png, .etc), you may want to look into a plugin such as Image Watermark.
However, you can place transparent (and opaque) images on your PDFs if you choose to use TCPDF – just include an <img> tag pointing to a JPG|GIF|PNG in an HTML watermark.
Does PDF Ink work for ePub/Mobi files or .XYZ (not .PDF)?
No, PDF Ink stamps PDF file types only.
